  • ❤️Hinge, Hope & Heartbreak : The Illusion of Modern Love🌹

Before diving into what we call a ‘Love App‘ or a ‘Dating App‘, let us chant the name of the biggest devotee of love – ‘Har Har Mahadev

Swipe Right, Swipe Left Or Just Swipe Away?

In a world where love is just a tap away, dating apps like Hinge promise deep connections, real conversations, and something more than a casual fling. But is that really what’s happening? Or are we just swiping through illusions, chasing the idea of love rather than love itself?

The ‘Designed to Be Deleted’ Paradox

Hinge markets itself as the app that helps you find something real—yet the cycle of ghosting, unmatched conversations, and endless “situationships” tells a different story. If it’s meant to be deleted, why does it feel like a revolving door?

The Rise of ‘Situationships’ Over Commitment

People want deep conversations, but not deep responsibility. “I’m not looking for anything serious, but let’s see where this goes” has become the anthem of modern dating. Is this emotional evolution, or just fear of intimacy disguised as freedom?

    DO NOT LOOK AWAY

Live Lens: Dare to Seek the Truth?

People will get offended, because truth is often bitter and this bitter truth will make your life sweet once you start accepting it.

Choice Overload: Too Many Options, No Real Decisions

With endless profiles at our fingertips, we’ve become addicted to the possibility of something better. Why settle when there’s always someone new waiting in the queue? But does having more choices actually make us happier, or just more indecisive? These options are one of the reasons why people cheat. Yes, i just said it. The options make you indecisive to a point where you dont look at one place, you look at multiple places and select multiple places and keep most of them as options.

Suppose you are in a bakery that has a lot of options of cakes – some being cheap or expensive or maybe good flavour/taste but looks bad or bad flavour/taste but looks good and so on. Indecisive, right? You’ll choose something and then regret it for the entire time you are cutting the cake.

    THE WITNESS 1:

    Nikhil

“I’ve tried to use Hinge+ a few times with varying degrees of success. I used it a couple of years ago and got about 8 or 9 matches (from hundreds of swipes) about 5 of those entered the conversation stage and about 2 of those were lengthy convos but I ultimately decided we didn’t really have enough in common to bother asking them on a date. I just went back to being single and eventually met a girl in real life (had a year long relationships) followed by another girl I met (6 month dating / seeing each other). After that I went back to Hinge. I used the free version this time and got 2 matches after 5 swipes. I got talking to one of those and she gave me her snapchat. After that I decided that I wanted more than 5 swipes a day so I upgraded to Hinge+. I completely maxed out all my swipes to the point where Hinge said “we’ve shown you everyone, come back later”. I got no matches. I decided to upgrade to HingeX, after reading that they use a paywall to get people to sign up to the highest tier if they want the best matches. Exactly the same thing – been swiping away and absolutely nothing. So after my subscription runs out this month I definitely own’t be paying for the app again – absolute waste of money. I’ll probably continue to use the free version from time to time but I’m already talking to another girl I met at work so I’d rather just meet someone in real life. The problem with Hinge is that everyone sets their standards higher on dating apps than they would in real life. The amount of girls just demanding things in the 3 short prompts they have is unreal “don’t get in touch if you’re not 6ft”. “Make me laugh”, “don’t just message me hey or how are you” – yet they say absolutely nothing of interest on their profile that’s worthy of starting a conversation over.

If someone (no matter their gender) is demanding material things off you before you’ve even shown interest that to me is a red flag. As the swiping goes on the self esteem inevitably goes down – you’ve never even met these people and you start to take their lack of response as a direct estimate of your personal worth which is absolutely ridiculous. Always remember – anyone on a dating app (whether it’s a really hot girl or a guy or whoever) is struggling with meeting people so much they’ve signed up to a dating app. Those hot girls are in exactly the same boat as us average looking guys, so don’t worry too much about it. TL:DR (my take) – Just use the free version of Hinge, the premium tiers aren’t worth it. Better still, you’re more likely to meet someone you actually vibe with doing the thing that you love (whether it’s music, gym, hobbies, gaming, sports etc – whatever you’re into, find someone who’s also into that).”

    DO NOT LOOK AWAY

You don’t realize o wanderer, truth is all you need..

    Ghosting: The Digital Death Sentence

Hinge has made conversations easier, but it’s also made disappearances effortless. No closure, no explanation—just silence. What does this say about how we value people? Or have we reduced human connections to mere digital exchanges? The emotional stress one goes through after they have been ghosted is close to a death sentence in this digital age. Disappearances are easy to disappear, staying is hard to stay – within you.

    THE WITNESS 2 :

    Shruti

“To me, hinge can be good at times but there are also times when men there could be very creepy. It almost feels like they just came out of prison looking all so desperate.

Some men there are a disgrace and even women. My guy friend faced the same issue but with a woman so its not about the gender there as this generation we are living in is kinda chill and all but there’s also exception because again, we live in a society but that is for some another time.

So, Use hinge but dont fall for the trap. Do not ignore red flags and do not meet shady people, if you have watched any serial killer documentaries, you know what i am talking about”

Look Away if you think you’re not strong to face yourself. Embrace this world’s reality.

    Arresting Digitally

Love in the Age of Algorithms

The app learns your preferences, filters potential matches, and tailors your experience. But can love be algorithmically generated, or is the randomness of life still its greatest matchmaker?  But as Nikhil’s opinion about is, i strongly believe that real life is a human’s friend and digital life is human’s foe in upcoming life.

The fact being – technology so powerful that people are connecting to articles more on websites than newspapers/magazines. So, would you prefer being caught up digitally for job and marry digitally or enjoy life and relationships while experiencing the adventures of real life?

Is Modern Romance Just a Glorified Game?

At the end of the day, are we looking for love, or just the dopamine rush of a new match? Hinge, like life, is a game of timing, luck, and effort. Some find their person. Most just keep scrolling.

So, is Hinge truly the future of love, or just a beautifully packaged illusion? Let the future decide.

is this what your future beholds for you?

  • Brewing Stories : From Generations to Forever On…

as I share something really emotional for me (and maybe for you as well), I would ask you guys to chant – HAR HAR MAHADEV

When we, as Indians, seek comfort, plan a casual outing with our partners, or simply want to hang out, where do we go? If you know, you know…
    TEA STALL (CHAI KI TAPRI)

LiveLens: There’s no truth to reveal, only smiles to spread.

CHAPTER 1: THE HEART (Of The Streets)

In the bustling cities, small towns, or even the hidden corners of our urban landscapes, there’s always that one stall we gravitate toward. A place to unwind, sip a cup of tea, and share a smoke—Chai-Sutta.

For office workers, students, laborers, and even travelers from abroad, these tea stalls are more than just roadside stops—they are a way of life. The humble tea vendor, standing with his steaming kettle and a handful of masalas, pours out warmth and love in every cup.

A place where friendships are forged, debates ignite, and stories unfold. Yet, these tea vendors often go unnoticed, despite playing an essential role in our daily life.

Since my teenage years, I’ve been more of an on-and-off visitor to these stalls—sometimes for a hot, steamy cup of chai, sometimes just for a 5-rupee biscuit. But lately, I’ve realized an immense positivity I feel after meeting these vendors..

I have countless stories to tell, but for now, let me share two that are closest to my heart…

Manoj Bhai & Deepak Bhai – My “Bade Bhai”

    Manoj Bhai

    Deepak Bhai

Like a younger brother, I always called them “Bade Bhai” (big brother). My first meeting with them was during MahaKumbh (this one truly feels like a romantic story). Back then, I was a quiet, reserved person. But as the days passed, I found myself spending more and more time with them, getting to know them beyond their stall.

I started wandering with them, helping them pick up supplies from the market, and even became their unofficial chai stall promoter. In return, they served me everything with pure love, shared home-cooked meals, and made me feel like I was the best person they had ever met (I still couldn’t believe to this day).

Most importantly, they sometimes left their stall idle just to have long conversations with me. Oh! And I completely forgot—they even played matchmaker for me one day. (Don’t worry, it didn’t work out, but 100/10 for effort!)

The sheer dedication and hard work they put into their stall were commendable. They never let anyone go hungry, even if the person didn’t have money to pay.

Deepak Bhai & Manoj Bhai—thank you for everything you do for the devotees. You are truly great sons of our Bharat Mata.

Amidst the smoke, the clatter, the street,
Where footsteps echo and destinies meet,
A kettle hums a song of old,
Stories brewed in cups of gold.

Where Kings may fall, and cities fade,

But Badhe Bhai’s chai will never age…

    Ankush Yadav Ji

A family from Firozabad, working tirelessly for every penny in an unknown city, carrying forward their legacy through generations. In a place where tea stalls are at every turn, the competition they have to face is commendable.

In the quiet city of Greater Noida, where education meets addiction, they serve tea that is filled not with stress or anxiety, but with love and smiles.

One of the biggest attractions at their stall? A little one named Lucy. Despite Mahadev testing them on some days, they continue to care for her like she is their own.

Such people are the hidden gems of this world. Sir, I thank you for the warmest welcome you gave me.

I wake before the city hums,
Before the sun, before the drums.
    Kettle hissing, coals burn bright,
    Another war, another night.

    Hands are cracked, stories old,
Tea is poured, but hearts stay cold.
They sip, they talk, they laugh, they leave,
    No one stays—no one grieves.

I stir the brew, not dreams untold,
Need money, not a hand to hold.
Smiles won’t fill an empty plate,
    Friendship fades, hunger waits.

So drink your chai, then walk away,
I count my coins at end of day.
For in this world, where ties pretend,
I need money, not a friend.

    DO NOT LOOK AWAY

Smiles are spreading—do not snatch them away.

CHAPTER 3: THE HANDS (The Art of  Tea  Life)

Each tea vendor has a unique way of brewing tea—some add extra ginger for warmth, others a pinch of cardamom for aroma, or even a secret blend of spices passed down through generations. The way they pour the tea from a height, frothing it to perfection, adds to the charm and depth of the experience.

The clinking of glasses, the swirling steam carrying hints of spice, the rhythmic stirring of the kullhad—together, they create a symphony that is both soothing and nostalgic.

These vendors share a simple yet powerful story—of hard work, survival, and the beauty of small joys in life. A friendly chat, a moment of rest, a cup of chai shared between strangers.

Their hands, often stained with tea and sugar, speak of endless labor, yet their smiles remain warm—just like the tea they serve.

Next time you visit a tea stall, keep your eyes and heart open– to look out for friends and to appreciate the human you see in them. They serve stories as rich as their Tea and who knows maybe you can find your “Badhe Bhai” …..

  • THE UGLY FACES OF MAHAKUMBH

Before this dark themed, this heavy heartening blog, i would like to ask you guys to close your eyes for a moment and chant his name –

    HAR HAR MAHADEV

Because after every dark tunnel, a light  comes in and makes our eyes blind for a second or two. That light opens our eyes, broaden our minds and makes our heart smile and fabricate our minds to thank the superior power that we finally go out of the darkness. So this is that darkness before the light. Give me a few minutes of your lives’s time and you’ll see the light behind the holiest place in the world,

    KUMBH MELA

A little bit about the Kumbh Mela and its importance for Hindus –

(for those who know its importance and why its celebrated, feel free to skip the next paragraph)

According to the mythology, Devas (Gods) and Asuras (Devils) churned the cosmic ocean in search of the Amrita (nectar of immortality). A lot of incidents happened during the search but finally, in the end to prevent the Asuras from gaining immortality, Lord Vishnu took the form of the enchanting Mohini, a divine female avatar. Mohini tricked the Asuras into allowing her to distribute the nectar, but she ensured that only the Devas consumed it.

However, before this, Garuda, the mighty eagle and vehicle of Vishnu, played a crucial role. Vishnu instructed Garuda to swiftly take the Amrita Kalasha (pot of nectar) away from the Asuras and deliver it safely to the Devas, restoring the balance. As Garuda carried the Amrita Kalasha (pot of nectar) to safety, a few drops of the divine nectar spilled onto four specific places on Earth. These places later became sacred pilgrimage sites and are associated with the Kumbh Mela, one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the world. The four locations where the drops of Amrita fell are:

    1. Prayagraj (Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh) – At the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers.
    2. Haridwar (Uttarakhand) – In the Ganga River.
    3. Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) – In the Shipra River.
    4. Nashik (Maharashtra) – In the Godavari River4.

These places became highly sacred, and the Kumbh Mela is held in rotation at each of them every 12 years. The significance of these locations comes from the belief that during the Kumbh Mela, the waters of these rivers are infused with the divine nectar’s power, granting spiritual purification and liberation to those who bathe in them.

    Now Time To Uncover
    The Ugly Faces Of MahaKumbh
    dare to seek the truth?

Spent 20 days at Mahakumbh, peeling back layers of faith, fear, and deception. What I saw changed everything.
CHAPTER 1: The Beginning—Faith for Sale
Four days in, still no idea for my film. Sleepless nights, restless days. Then, I noticed them—sadhus, or so they seemed.Begging for essentials. At first, I believed in giving. Good karma, right? But then, I saw the same men collecting the same donations from different people.
    Later, another “sadhu” stopped me.
“Buy me 5 liters of ghee,” he demanded.
    I refused politely.
“Which god do you believe in?” he asked, his stare cutting through me.
    “Shiva.”
    “I am Shiva’s messenger, son.”
That’s when it hit me. Faith had a price tag.
The ash-covered sadhus preach peace, yet count their cash.
Prayers now come with a hidden fee, wrapped in holy words and deceit.
We trust the robe, not the man inside.
We crave belief—so we close our eyes.

    DO NOT LOOK AWAY

LiveLens : dare to seek the truth?

    CHAPTER 2: Fame Over Faith

Day 9. The faces changed. The hunger grew—not for enlightenment, but for attention.

Sadhus, meant to renounce materialism, now chase news cameras, Instagram likes, and TV spots.
One “saint” saw my camera and performed—not for devotion, but for virality.

brought a paper and pen to write down the contact and channel details of where we were going to publish his video..

Hands reach out for blessings, only to grasp at illusions.
They speak of detachment but cling to power.
They walk like saints, yet chase the crowd.

    CHAPTER 3: The Darkest Tantra

On my last days, near Ganga Ghat, a man asked for a donation.
    I gave him ₹100.
Hours later, he was smoking chillum with a sadhu—the only honest one I met.

Later, the same man approached me. High. Possessed.
He offered to show me something “beyond this world.”
    I played along.

At the ghat, he revealed a book: “Kali Upasana Rahasya.” (Goddess –Kali’s Secret to Worship)
“This book found me. It’s Kali’s gift,” he whispered.

He even told me a series of information to which i connected the dots of –

    • I asked him that why do people do black magic to which he ultimately told me about the people who do black magic for themselves. He said “those who do it for themselves, sacrifice a person, from whom they can get what the magician wants in life.
    • Later he said “i am lost in love, family and as a disciple”
    • While coming towards the ghat, he said “I got this book on my lap one fine day, felt as if it is a kali’s gift to me so i accepted it and i finally feel like i am the king of the world.”

His eyes burned with something darker than devotion.

He handed me white almonds—a known vessel for black magic.
    I didn’t eat them.

    Beware what you consume.

Black magic lurks in whispers and shadows.
Those who take what isn’t theirs will bow when the master calls.
Power is never free—it always demands a price.

Truth is fed. Lies are stripped away.
    WELCOME TO LIVELENS.

    CHAPTER 4: The Revelation

The only real sadhu I met, spoke truths most wouldn’t dare say.

    • “This is Kalyug,” he said.
“A son will kill his family for survival. Lovers will behead each other in blind rage. Cleverness is in the heart, not the mind. Respect has turned into fear, and fear into faith.”
    • “This society has created frauds. We bow to money, not morals. We trust the masks, not the faces beneath them. This is why true sadhus disappear, leaving behind only performers and society being the audience who pay to watch the performance”
    • “If everyone jumps from the balcony, be the one to stop them. Be the one to bring smiles, not tears.”

I AM READY FOR THIS CHANGE. ARE YOU?

    Truth is over. Reality begins.
